What is AIIRO®?
AIIRO® is a small less-lethal defense tool that launches powerful blasts of sticky and debilitating chemical irritant gel. Effects last up to an hour, giving you plenty of time to get to safety and find help. Quick and easy to reload, each cartridge holds two payloads and has a shelf life of 2 years. AIIRO® is equipped with with a button activated 120dB alarm (not included in CORE model.)
How do cartridges work?
Each cartridge contains 2 shots and can be reloaded in 3-5 seconds by hand.
AIIRO® cartridges contain a powerful irritant gel that sticks to the target, disabling them for up to an hour. Included trainer cartridges do not contain irritant and safe to use for practice.
Can I refill cartridges?
No, do not attempt to refill or disassemble. Refill cartridges are available for sale on our website.
Does AIIRO® use C02 or Nitrogen?
AIIRO® cartridges utilize compressed Nitrogen to fire their payload. Nitrogen is more temperature stable than C02.

is AIIRO® considered a firearm?
No, HERO® devices are not considered firearms. While state laws vary, most define a firearm as a weapon the expels a projectile via explosive, such as gun powder. Since HERO® products utilize compressed Nitrogen gas to fire their payload, they are not legally defined as firearms.
